What kind of paper are the prints made on?

Each print is produced on museum-grade fine art paper with a smooth matte finish that captures every tone and texture just as it was shot. Using the giclée method with water-based inks, every photo is rendered with depth, detail, and lasting colour. Sustainably sourced and completely acid-free, this paper protects the artwork’s beauty for a lifetime without fading or discolouration.

Do the framed prints arrive ready to hang?

Yes, all framed prints come fully assembled and ready to hang straight out of the box, with hanging hardware included.

What are your frames made from?

Each frame is crafted from solid ash, carefully milled and hand-finished to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. A specialist wax enriches the grain and protects the surface, giving a subtle lustre that endures for a lifetime. The box profile creates a strong gallery-style presence that draws the eye to the photograph.

Are your prints glossy or matte in finish?

All of our prints have a matte finish. This helps reduce glare and gives the artwork a more timeless look.

Do you use acrylic or glass for the framed prints?

Each frame is fitted with a sheet of premium shatterproof acrylic. We’ve chosen acrylic over glass because it offers better protection and is far less likely to arrive damaged during transit.

Can I request a custom size or print?

Yes, we’re happy to accommodate custom requests where possible. Just send us a message and we’ll do our best to help.

Shipping & Returns

How long does shipping take?

Every Clovelly Studio piece is made to order, printed with giclée precision, mounted with a physical passepartout, and finished in a handcrafted frame. Please allow 7 to 10 days for production and delivery. Once your order has shipped, a tracking link will be provided so you can follow its journey to your door. We ship internationally with trusted partners to ensure safe and reliable delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is completely free, wherever you are in the world. No hidden fees, just beautiful prints delivered to your door.

Can I return or exchange a print?

As each artwork is custom printed and framed to your chosen size, we’re unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once your order has been placed.

What happens if my print arrives damaged?

If your artwork arrives damaged, we’ll make it right. Please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and any visible damage so we can quickly arrange a replacement.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow its journey to your doorstep. If you can’t find tracking information, then please contact us.

Sustainability & Ethics

How do you support independent artists?

We collaborate directly with every photographer and ensure they’re fairly paid for each print sold. Our goal is to champion creative talent, give artists full credit for their work, and help them grow through long term partnerships.

How is Clovelly Studio sustainable?

All of our prints are made using FSC-certified paper and wood, sourced from sustainably managed forests, and printed with water-based inks that are safer for the environment. Our packaging is 100% recyclable, helping to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact. For every order placed, we also plant a tree through Ecologi, supporting reforestation projects that protect wildlife, absorb carbon, and restore ecosystems.
